i play in a lot of wet/muddy conditions and i heard that when the leather shoes get wet it kind of messes up the material. I like the leather ones better because of comfort and durability but i want the shoe to be able to last through a lot of wet conditions. Is it true that the material gets messed up when it gets wet and if it is true, is there anything you can do to prevent the leather from getting ruined?

@DuneBman For a fullback I recommend the Nike CTR360 Maiestri 2 or the F50 adizero Synthetic or Prime if you are a Center back then i recommend the Adipowers the Puma kings or the Nike Tiempo legend Vi's if you have any questions on my reasoning feel free to reply for another question
