The basis for this film is the opening scene from Quentin Tarantino's film Reservoir Dogs (1992), in which Mr. Brown (Tarantino) describes what Madonna's song "Like a Virgin" is really about ("a metaphor for big dicks"). Trinity Dogs begins with four guys sitting around a table, playing Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), with one of them (Marc Hickox) describing what Reservoir Dogs is really about (a metaphor for the Catholic holy trinity). As the description progresses, the characters and their setting, gradually transform into their idealized projection of themselves, based on the opening scene from Reservoir Dogs. The characters go from D&D playing geeks in a basement, to black suit wearing gangsters in a diner.

  • well filmed, well written, and an interesting concept. Oh and if Mr. Pink is St. Paul/Peter, its makes since for him to be captured/killed at the end by Roman LAPD because thats what happened to the real Paul/Peter, whichever one you meant.
