Larry Hama created the Marvel GI Joe comic book series based on his original ideas for a Nick Fury: Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off series called "FURY FORCE." Without the comic book, there would've been no cartoons, no movie, no nothing, just some silly toys. Hama was a brilliant writer and the comics are 100 times better than the cartoons or the movie. If the studio just sticks to the comic book storyline they'll make better films.
