On the night of November 10, 1975, the Great Lakes freighter Edmund
Fitzgerald and her crew of 29 men sailed into a terrifying winter storm and vanished. There were no witnesses, no survivors and over 30 years later, still no answers. Her sinking remains one of the worlds greatest maritime mysteries.

  • @bebeinpa He was born in Canada, but was raised in New York.

  • @NHLHockeyfreak Yeah, I read that too, once, but apparently, he was a New Yorker.

  • @sasktank Actually, 1/3 of the wreckage lies in U.S. waters, by GPS standards.

  • @bebeinpa I read that he was canadian born.

  • @NHLHockeyfreak Captain McSorley was born in upstate New York in Ogdensburg, not in Canada.

  • I'm from Minnesota and I love listening to people who knew about the Edmund Fitzgerald up by Duluth. This is a story that should be shared with everybody. Please be respectful!
