so did he happen to be there and was happy to pose for you or was he part of that band (and that could be a reason why warner brothers dropped them? )just curious cause now without warner brothers, i'm not sure if future albums and concerts in the u.s. will be as easily accessible for me and i really want to see ville and him play again

@Vampkiki Sorry but I cannot tell you anything about Ville's business and what will happen to HIM since I am not the biggest fan of the band myself and therefore don't follow the latest news. I was there because of Velvet Six and Ville turned out the be in the audience as well since he is very fond of them too.

Cool :) Hope the rest of the band is faring well. I caught Daniel Lioneye on tour and was talking with Mige and Burton outside the venue and they seemed well and I was happy to see them and chat a bit. It's nice to see Ville :)

All these comments 'so he's alive!!!' or 'omg he looks healthyyy!!!' or 'omgomgomg he looks so happyyy'.... NO. SHIT. ! We've finally been able to leave the band alone for a few months!

For nearly TEN YEARS these guys have been busting their asses with very little vacation time making albums with immensely powerful and moving music, and, when not, touring the world. Yes, Ville and the boys are very strong people, but they need a break, and I'm glad they have it : )

Can't wait for the new album ^-^ 2012 is too far away!!! D: (Yes, I know it's a little less than a year away. But, the album isn't supposed to be out until like summer. D:)

Actually, Sire Records/Warner did not DROP them. They had a four album contract that ended with SWRXS. Dark Light, Venus Doom, Screamworks, and SWRMXS. That's the thing. I was hugely obsessed when I was 14 and googled that, because they had JUST released Dark Light six months prior and there it was. Four album contract. It may have been revised to three after the few years. But They were not dropped or kicked off the label. They were making rather decent money for the corporation. Why drop them?

@Vampkiki The band Velvet Six is very big fans of HIM and some of their songs were influenced by HIM. Ville was there to check them out live. HIM left Warner to find another record label (thank god). But right now there is new material being worked on for a 2012 album they are just looking for a new record label to help them publish it better.
