  • I've studied the Airplay album for about two years now, as we're putting together an Airplay tribute band (coming on YouTube soon), and won't consider myself an "expert", but due to my analysis of the guitar/vocal harmonies, I have to say that the vocal track on this performance is identical to the album version. ... Just watch the JG All Stars DVD from Japan. That one's live, and not nearly as perfect.

And I'm afraid it's not Funderburk on the original. All Jay.

  • なんだこれは。ライブにしちゃ気持ち悪いくらいにサウンドが抜群だぜ!

  • I saw Al jarreau last night in new Orleans. He song a few arrangements that Jay grayson wrote. Larry Williams and Joe taurruno are just amazing. Does Arno Lucas still play with Al? I didn't see any conga player last night.

  • Airplay is one of my favorite 80's group.".should we carry on" was one of our repertoire. i missed our band. Sweet Blood....

  • Jay claims he doesn't like singing, and did it out of necessity. I think he's a fine singer.

  • gandalf omn bass XD

  • I love it when talented musicians get together, this has more talent in 4 bars than any whole song by any hiphop artist. This music is a result of intelligence hiphop is a result of mtvs' manipulative dumb the viewer down methods,it's easy to sell garbage to those who don't know any better;just like McDonalds is good to someone who's never had a thick juicy backyard grill burger cooked to perfection.

  • JAY GRAYDON PRODUCED AL JERRAU 2 ALBUM AND ALSO PLAYED GUITAR .THATS WHY SOME OF THESE ARRANGEMENTS SOUND SIMILAR.OF THOSE A.J ALBUMS BACK IN 1982

  • That bass player KILLS!!

  • uh brecker + hey = orgasm

  • Foster, Graydon, Sklar, Hey and you top it off with Larry Friekin' Williams!!! Why don't you just shoot me now?!

What a joy it would be to see all these guys live. I wish they would do that here in the US.

I learned all I know, musically from these guys!!! If you've never heard Williams play keys, check out Spain by Al Jarreau. That's how I learned to fly.
