Beautiful bird and as evidenced by the attention you give him and obvious affection you have for him, you will do fine.
Ignore all the self-righteous whatevers who apparently never made a mistake nor did anything without being world reknowned experts before even starting!
Just continue to learn and be kind!

BURN!!! lol nice bird too im thinking about geetting one
-
dude i hope if the bird does fly away it finds you and rips your face off! calm down.
-
Sheesh! You guys gotta calm down! They might've still been learning. You can't expect them to know everything! CALM DOWN!!

She is ADORABLE!!! I'm sorry for the rude comments you've gotten for this video. I'm sure that every new macaw owner makes mistakes during the first few months of having them, so you're not alone!!
She is such a well behaved girl! I'm so glad you bring her to the vet for checkups. There are so many bird owners out there that don't.
Next time you bring her for a beak trim, tell the vets not to trim it so short. Her beak should be not so rounded/short as it's not natural. Not your fault though!
-
You should use a lower tone, because you should consider the bird your equal,a family member, not your servant! And she was already angry with vet.If you don't want to be hate by her...
I seriously hopes she bites your fingers off and she flies away to a decent home, you trailer trash bitches. Please give her to a deserving home...

We had just received the bird a few days before this and were learning about it. The person that we received her from did it so we thought it was the thing to do. After reading and doing some research we learned that was not the thing to do, but thank you for your comment. Maybe next time you could do it with manners and be some of nice human being and realize that you too are NOT perfect. GET A LIFE!
