Peterson's System Standard 302 (Briar Pipe / Bruyère Pfeife 9mm) / Pfeife rauchen

Peterson's PPP System Standard No. 302 has always been one of my favorite shapes. Therefore I've been looking for it for many years until I've finally found it on Ebay for little money in a very bad condition. It took me quite a while to finish refurbishing it and cleaning it up. But the result is awesome (in my opinion). I really recommend this pipe.

Petersons PPP System Standard Nr. 302 war schon immer eines meiner favorisierten Modelle. Daher hatte ich jahrelang danach Ausschau gehalten, ehe ich es schließlich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand für wenig Geld auf Ebay ersteigern konnte. Es hat mich eine ziemlich lange Zeit und Mühe gekostet, die Pfeife zu restaurieren und zu reinigen. Meiner Meinung nach ist mir dies aber letztendlich doch recht gut gelungen. Ich kann diese Pfeife wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.

Thanks! :) I think it's always the same... the things you want most are not available in your neighborhood. Boswell blends are sold in the US only. Many other thing you want (maybe Dunhill blends?) are hard to get in the US. ;-)

I am a fan of Peterson pipes....

I have two a rusticated 314 & a smooth 303......

The 303 is the same shape as yours but a little smaller.....

Great job on restoring your 302.....

How do you find the P-Lip ???

I'm also a fan of Peterson pipes (I like all of them) and actually I have two 302 and two 309 pipes as well as a 999 and a 408 and a 1910 Bulldog. My second 302 is also an estate pipe. I will introduce it somewhere later on. Regarding the p-lip... I don't like it too much. I prefer the normal fishtail because it's much more comfortable in my opinion. And much easier to be cleaned from the inside.

Schönes Video, Mensch, da hab ich mit meiner ebay-Ersteigerung aber Glück gehabt, meine 302 war super aufgearbeitet, hat nur 25,- gekostet.

ähnliches Glück hatte ich mit meiner zweiten 302. Wurde nur 2-3mal geraucht und hat mich um die € 40 gekostet. War also beinah noch neu. :))

Hallo Michael,

es handelt sich um ein klassisches Peterson-Lippenbissmundstück aus Ebonit, weswegen ich auch diese Heidenarbeit mit dem Aufbereiten hatte. Ich habe noch eine weitere 302 mit einem Fishtail aus Acryl, die ich irgendwann auch noch vorstellen werde. Da die Pfeife für 9mm Filter ausgelegt ist, dürfte es sich wohl um eine Pfeife für den deutschen Markt handeln.

mal eine Frage: Was ist das für ein Mundstück (evt eine US-Variante?) meine 302 hat ein wesentlich und schmaleres und tailliertes Mundstück, wie es scheint. Weißt du Näheres?
