you would just need to drill a bigger hole as far as i know but still work fine once you figure out a technique that works for you, check out other vids on potato guns that use lighters.

it is safer to use a bbq lighter rather than a regular lighter because with a bbq lighter the spark is in the combustion chamber but with a lighter it can light outside the chamber if too much gas escapes.

for the love of god ,, use pvc pipe ,not a mix of abs and pvc,, dont forget when gluing pvc to use a primer, first then the glue that thinng can blow up on your ass ,
