You are truly magnificent. Vocally, it's a hard-ass song, just because Conor has a ridiculous range. He's probably one of the best bad singers (if that makes any sense). And the fact that you're a chick covering it, makes it even harder because it's done in a deeper, conversational voice. Thus, the fact that your cover sounds this great is a spectacular feat. Also, the breakdown sounds awesome. I'm gonna be watching this quite a few times so I can get that right :) Keep playing!

Seriously iamerinnolan, you are going to spend your time on youtube criticizing people for singing. I thought it was a great cover. fucking eh, you didn't purchase a ticket to her show, if you don't like it, move on to another video. Your a plague on creative freedom, probably because you spend all your time critiquing other people, while achieving virtually nothing in your own creative life.

i've watched a few other covers of this song, and in my opinion, this one's the best, both in piano and vocal (regardless of what sweet little erin nolan said.) listen to conor's voice, man, the reason his voice as well as hers go with the song is because they aren't "beautiful." good job, chick.

Nice. Loved this Bright Eyes song. :)
Pretty good for one done by ear alone.
I'd suggest getting something to hang your mic/webcam, just to get it elevated from the piano so one can hear your voice more, instead of just the piano. You can always just find a nook on the lights to put it on or something.

Aye, excellent point there. I've been experimenting with different angles to see their effects on the sound, which is why you can't see the piano at all in this shot =/ I'll look for something to stand it on though, for better quality. Thanks for the comment =]
