Very poorly covered. The boy did NOT scale the fences to retrieve a hat, that was a "perhaps" rumor that spread based on another fatal accident in a different time and place. He was taking an illegal and deadly shortcut back into the park from the car lot. The scale and size of the fences would be a firm detriment to anyone with slightest common sense or bit of personal responsibility. ps, not fair or appropriate to bring up the earlier accident, as if to suggest the ride is at fault.

@fretfatberger It's a real pleasure that he self-vacated from the gene pool. Protip, parents. Don't name your kids after continents.

Im rating this thumbs down because I feel really bad for him and his parents. This is a reminder to lots of people to make the best choice they can about things because sometimes making the wrong one can lead to this kind of thing. Even simple things like get the hat or ask a staff member to retrieve it for you.

0:30 prosecuted... and decapitated
0:20 Decapitated and killed? As opposed to all those times people are decapitated and live on?

When I hear about this kind of thing happening, I am grateful that my parents raised me with discipline and that even at that age, I knew better than that!
