What I don't get is that at the end of The Blue Lagoon, Em and Richard's baby ate some of those poisoned berries. So exactly how is he alive and Em and Richard aren't?

the movie was awsome i loved it bt i watched it just half :(
-
hey can any 1 plz tel me from where i can watch end parts of this flim when that new fgamily comes to that sea side n gives them clothes etc plz can any 1 tell me some site where i can watch this full movie

That makes no sense. In the first movie, Richard, Em, and Patty were found and they confirmed they were alive, they were just sleeping. But now the second movie one confirms Richard and Em are dead!
WHAT THE HECK!!! D':<
-
okay, so the reason their son was named Richard is because the grandfather who had looked for them all those years decoded to name his grandson after his son (richard)
-
and then
Richard and em are dead but the little boy paddy through it away at some point ...you do see it..so he is alive...in return to the blue lagoon its Richard and em's son and his name is Richard because if you remember that's the only NAME he could say

Richard and Emmeline wake to find Paddy eating what they called the "never wake up berries". Richard and Emmeline decide to eat the berries as well, lying down embracing to await death. Only a few hours later, Arthur's ship finds them floating in the boat. Arthur asks, "Are they dead?" and the ship's captain answers, "No, sir. They are asleep." The ending, true to the book....

bullshit!!! that other boat from the first movie didn't look like that and they were alive
-
Okay, guys, in Blue Lagoon, they ate Never Wake Up Berries (i think that's what they're called) which means that it seems like they're sleeping when they're actually dead.
-
Ok!! Wait a sec i thought they were alive! I am VERY confused!
I agree....it totally sucks. That's why the first is way better.

I totally agree too. I grew up when the first one came out. (I'm christopher and brooke's age) and I'm sorry, but there's nothing like the first one.
