Ted van Lieshout reads his poem "Tekening" (Drawing), from "Multiple noise", published by Leopold, 1992; recorded July 2008.
Text: Maybe not the most beautiful, but certainly the dearest house is the house in which I live. This is a secret drawing of our house and where it stands. Or else some one might come and steel it. Or I lose it, these things happen. And where am I to go then? - Oh yes, and what's more: do not ever draw your own home with pencil, for everywhere erasers run free.
