Disclaimer: It's a joke. We put everything back how we found it immediately after the camera was turned off. While putting this disclaimer here kind of ruins the illusion of the joke, Trevelyn and I decided that it's best so that we don't piss off a lot of hotel people and hackers and homeland security and God knows who else. So, we didn't take down networks, steal rack equipment or even smoke cigarettes around the racks because we have so much more respect for Shmoocon than that.

First he cut all exterior communications. DDOS. Then he attempted to route traffic from on network through the target network to be attacked. Now to make this more effective. He should have had on him one leatherman. Then he needs to cut the cat 5 cables in a spot no one can visualy see. So once they reconnect and everything doesn't work they have to go through the wires and discoverd the problem. Not done yet he should have unplugged the switches themselfs and cut the power cords to YAY!
