Tigers will sometimes get heavier than the lion, especially the Siberian Tiger. however the reason is the extra fat they put on to handle colder climate.

To the poster of this vid, could you please show me your source of information, because every documentary I have watched or read says that Asiatic Lions are smaller than their African cousins, and by the way, it was National Geographic who said in one episode of their documentary (Hunter Hunted) that African Lions weight 500lbs, in all books I have read about Lions and Tigers the African Lion weights between 450lbs-500lbs, Siberian Tigers weight between 600lbs-700lbs max
