Benzaiten Effect

While in India, we traveled between Delhi and Agra and shot several photos and video, many from the train and the backseat of a taxi. I enjoyed all the people zooming along on motorbikes and bicycles. This inspired me to write and record a piece of music to serve as the soundtrack for these images.
I began improvising a string melody I could work with to compliment a simple sitar part, gamelan and Indian drumming. The fusion of Indian and Indonesian instruments often works so well together.
