08-03-10 - Ducati 1198S

Day 1
After dropping back the Monster its time for me to step up a notch, to one of the most gorgeous bikes on the planet, the Ducati 1198S. It has a huge twin engine, a real racing pedigree, and at around £16,000 is pretty pricey, is it worth all that cash and hysteria? Here I begin to find out!

oh my god..... iv been riding a 250 for 2 years now...i was saving up money to buy a 1198...but now im scared... O.O

in love.....but scared...

@hvkv0000 I would go for a 600 first dude, 250 to 1198 is huge jump, like learning to walk then flying! Id say go for a 600 for a year or 2 - then make the step up. That way you will be more comfortable and get more out of the bike and yourself. And or course you'd still be alive ;-)

Yeah it arrives tomorrow - gutted too - but will get a day on the 1198S sorted with it!

@motorcycleluke thanks s a lot for the ryply... :) i am realy confused... the problem iv got is that i am 6'7.. :( and iv sat on a few 600s and they are too awkwardly small.....its the same problem i hav with my bike now... wat do u recon i should do???
