????????, this actually worked. I was helping my little sister get her laptop to start working again, and I came across this which seemed fishy but harmless and easy to try. To both our surprises, this actually worked. Seems crazy, but at least give it a shot, takes at most 45 seconds.

part 2, your answer don't work for me. and at what problem is refered exactly: blank screen, no beep, no LED ? i have only beep 4-5 with this video tips but i have reseted battery and battery pack before and is not reproductible after no beep work only one time. i have reseted my memory 512MB pc133 one slot test slot number 2 by removed memory power on replaced battery, charger and memory. all my connector is connected, DIMM Memory at changed with new memory one or two module memory DIMM?

This didn't work for mine. *hoping wasn't trolled* XD but, mine, the battery status light, power on light, and ac power status light all come on but nothing else. The screen stays black. It was working fine an hour ago, and then it froze while my mom was browsing ebay & netflix, so I turned it off, and this happened. ><
