Hello,
I hope youre having a great New Year. Here at NYRA, were having an exciting one. Along with our Southeast Florida chapter, I am in the the midst of a campaign that began in 2008 to end the unconstitutional and illegally-enforced youth curfew in West Palm Beach, Florida. Heres my story:

Id love to hear your about personal experiences with youth rights. Does your school have policies you think are unfair? Does your local gas station limit the number of students allowed in it at a time? Is your son or daughter unfairly treated in his or her community? Whats your story? We want to hear from you.
Please send videos, emails, diaries (anything!) to shareyourstory@youthrights.org. Type out your story or experience or record it in a video and send us the link. You can also call 646-495-9205, extension 33021 and leave a voicemail with your story (make sure to clearly spell out your email address in the voicemail and send us an email confirming receipt). We will post the most compelling youth rights stories to our website and announce them in next months newsletter. Each and every day, NYRA and its membership of dedicated young people across this nation pursue justice. Everyone who faces inequitable treatment can and must demand what is right. Tell us your story and let's work together to make a real difference.
Thanks,
Jeffrey Nadel

Agree...glad to get the link from Adam Fletcher's retweeet...Also, in case the folks you are speaking with are not concerned about the 'rights' of youth, perhaps they would like to know that there is no research I can think of that would lend support for youth curfews as doing anything positive for a community. In fact, such are likely to alienate and have the reverse effects regarding youth behavior and responsible community participation...Peace and Good Luck, Rick A. Eliot, ME
