I fish.. I bowfish.. I hunt. and I use all the meat I get for food, I don't do it for the sport of it. I have 2 beautiful animals, a cat and a dog and love them deeply. PETA, there are some things you should keep your damn nose out of..

We have carp in Washington and they are harmful to the environment. The state has asked for all to be discarded instead of throwing them back when you catch them. They eat vegetation required for other fish and birds to survive.

that guy had great marksmanship.

PETA, seriously. Why is this worse than fishing? Why is this worse than naturally killing animals for food and not for business? These people are hunting. Not torturing.
PETA, you need to see some thing clearer

@Austin448844 Ah, but would you say "Who cares" if someone did that to a human? I don't think so. Some people are selfish and only care about the human race. They only fight for there own species. Animals have done so much for us, and we treat them like this? Just because they can't tell you it hurts doesn't mean it's okay. I hope in the future animals will be treated better than how they are treated now.

@officialpeta and why did you segrigate birds? i'm pretty sure birds are animals too.

@Austin448844 you can't be this dumb.

I have one thing to say.... WHO CARES!!! People have been doing things like this for centuries and nobody cared , so why start crying about it now?

@officialpeta thank you!
it's about the same with normal fishing fish have little to no feeling when it comes to pain due to the lack of nerves in the skin. same with the lip.

@XxAILASxX From the PETA website: Anyone who made it through Biology 101 knows that fish have nerves and brains that sense pain, just as all animals do. Dr. Donald Broom, a scientific advisor to the British government, explains, "The scientific literature is quite clear. Anatomically, physiologically and biologically, the pain system in fish is virtually the same as in birds and animals."
