  • Good review, is the system worth collecting for if I already own a Atari 7800 and Atari computer? Which version is best to buy.

  • @ATARI800XLfan Kinda hard to say I don't play mine much but for it's day it does have a fair amount of good games. I grew up mainly with NES the only thing I really played before the NES was the Atari 2600 so I don't find myself getting into these as much as others who grew up with them. If you like pre NES era games you'll like the Intellivision.

  • do i see a Marantz stereo receiver in his entertainment system?

  • Yes you do!

  • Is the N64's RD ram similar ram to that stupid rambus ram that was used in early pentium 4's?

  • Bingo. RAMBUS was FAST for the time but it was really expensive to make so it died off.

  • Congrats on picking up the Intv II. Now here are a few things you might want to pick up for it: ECS (Computer Adapter) Intellivoice for games like B-17 Bomber and Space Spartans And here are a few games I HIGHLY recommend purchasing. -Thunder Castle -River Raid -Bump n' Jump -Tower of Doom -Astrosmash And if you really enjoy tinkering around with the ECS, try hunting for the music synthensizer that goes with it.

  • The Intellivision 2 used a strange voltage power supply not 9 volts. The Power Button Reset was annoying because you had to hold it exactly the correct amount of time for it to turn off, to short and it just resets to long and it still just reset when you release the button. The Controllers were cheaply made and broke easier then the first Intellivision and they were very un comfortable with sharp edges that dug into your hands. The Sears Super Video Arcade was the best Intellivision.

  • Intellivision II is the best console of it's time.

  • early 1983

  • @WarshipAngelus what he means is: the Intellivision's main CPU is 16-bit. NOT the graphics unit.

  • I got an INTV2 with game organizer, 15 games, 3 game catalogs, instructions from a few of the games, ac adapter and lotsa overlays today! No rf cable included.

  • @Louieshine Yes, that is a VERY good deal. Normally people charge around 70 to 80 bucks for just the system itself.

  • hey today i got a intellivison II and 18 games with their manuals and overlays for $79 is that a good deal

  • intellivision was ahead of its time, i had both atari and intellivision as a kid i enjoyed the intellivison far more
