Isn't it funny that even the simplest questions on rail versus HOT can't be answered by pro-rail folks? Watch the Senator completely stumble on total softball questions.
I can drive from Makiki to Kapolei in 25 minutes. If I use rail that means I have to take the bus to Ala Moana, (20 minutes with wait time), wait on the rail (say 10 minutes), rail goes 25 mph with 19 stops (at least 55 minutes), catch a bus on the other end (another 20 minutes). Getting close to two hours to get to Kapolei, then repeat the trip home. Almost 4 hours! WTF?! Not a good deal, do the math.
Barbara Marshall is an anti-rail crony. Rail is really the only alternative for Honolulu. She's trying to side with an openly anti-rail loser who ran for mayor and didn't even make it past the primaries. Instead of siding with the FOUR of the FIVE engineers who were selected on a panel to recommend a transit alternative, she sides with Panos. Wack-job, can't be mayor Panos Prevoudourous. WTF, how is she serving the people. Get her out of the council already!
