Hunter St Bridge version 2

Crossing a bridge with traffic on my recumbent trike using vehicular cycling principles. I find being highly visible and taking the lane, I control what happens behind me. Once overtaking traffic notices me they either slow down or cross the line to pass.
At 1:45 I begin to filter forward. All traffic is stopped for light. I'm moving slower than it seems as I watch for doors on the right and any sign of movement from cars on left. I consider this a safe maneuver if done slowly and watchfully. I must always be aware of a right turning vehicle crossing my path.

A true vehicular cyclist would get in line behind the motorist and wait your turn instead of passing on the left and riding in the door zone. Take control of your lane and make the motorist pass you.

I think you meant passing on the RIGHT.

I never pass moving vehicles on the right. I believe this technique is called 'filtering forward', which is perfectly leagal in Ontario.Notice that all the vehicles have brake lights on as they're stopped at a red. As soon as the light turns green I get back in line.

Excellent lane position. This is much safer as it allows you to travel as a vehicle by law..and it makes you more visible to other car drivers. Stay safe.
