This list is 'some of the fastest metal guitarists'. Because Eric Clapton, Doug Aldrich and Gary Moore own these guys. Plus, these three are faster than everyone apart from Malmsteen.

Yo! to all of you guys who whine about emotion or feeling or something like that, remember there are a couple of things that make a guitarist good. Their Influence, Technical Ability, Emotion, Genre Fit, and Writing Capability are what make a good guitarist. These shred guys fit their genre really well. They also have incredible influence and ability. While they may score few points for emotion, they score well in other areas. So settle down.

I agree with Yngwie being at number one, and maybe Gilbert at number two, because he certainly ranks high, but after that it all goes downhill. MAB is much better than Buckethead, whilst Joe Stump is just an Yngwie rip-off. Why is Jason Becker not included? Or George Lynch? Or Randy? They deserve to be on the list.
