@GoldenSlumbers04 I'd say he's part of a type of destruction. And I like it.

Well, at least there's one sane person left in our government
*salutes

@at8933 It is VERY hard to stand up to somebody while occupying two nations, killing hundreds each month and debating whether to invade a third nation. Besides, the Israelis have the NASTIEST neighbors available. It is fashionable to weep for the Palestinians but they are pariahs in the Middle East.
Israel is not killing 45,000 Americans each year or costing the US 17% of its GNP. To me Israel is an insignificant issue. Remember, TWICE the US pulled Israel out of Egypt.

Are you seriously so naive to think that a pro-israel lobby like AIPAC can overrule the insurance lobby or any of the corporate lobbies...?
AIPAC is powerful, but not more than the corporate lobby.
-
i wish senator sanders stands up to the pro-israel lobby. they make the insurance lobby look like amateurs.

So, the same program of wars, debt, enslavement, bailouts, torture, suppression of civil rights and free speech, endless corruption, crooked senators and lobbyists, poisoning of water supplies, executive control and further enslavement of the people continues, even after all the used-car salesman slick-talk about change? The US falls for another scam. Land of the sheep, home of the slave.

He hasn't screwed us worse than Georgie Boy.
He has maintained almost the precise level of screwing that Georgie Boy left off with. That's better than another term of digging the hole deeper. But yeah, it is disappointing.
We voted for change and we got stasis. There hasn't been a president so in love with the status quo in my lifetime.

The Senate is worse than the House because it is more economical to buy a senator than it is to buy a house member. You have to spend over 4 times as much on a Senator for it to be a worse deal than buying a Representative.

no shit.. Sherlock
The most important point made in this clip is that our government is not beholden to we the people, but to the big money interests lurking behind everything from these health care insurance scams to the so-called "free market."
We have become the employees of the corporate states of America. We are the indentured servants to the likes of Exonn/Mobile, Etna, and Halliburton. We are debt slaves. We are nothing but cogs in the infernal capitalist machine.

erby and smhutson, you're both morons and i'm starting to get embarassed that people as ignorant as you are on the left. Bernies part of the destruction?! How so?? 'Cause he introduced a single-payer amendment to this bill?? 'Cause he introduced a bill to cap credit card rates at 15%? 'Cause he introduced a bill to break up the banks? That makes him corrupt?! To say Bernie is part of the destruction is insanity, ignorant people like you are.
