This is a submission to the Primal Blueprint Challenge for a Primal Recipe. I used local range free pork and a home made dry rub and some wood fire to cook this meal. The video is about 10 minutes, but there are lots of information in this video.
Looks awesome! I honestly hadn't thought about cooking with firewood the way you did. I do use natural wood chunk charcoal instead of the briquettes, but I bet the taste of that wood on those ribs are great!
