The Ontario SP2 Air Force survival knife is a great little camp knife for the price. With the price tag of $35 to $40 it would be the idea tool for someone just starting out or for the youth bushcrafter. Although I could personally stand for a few more polished features, I believe the value is there. If you're the type who does not want to spend a lot for a knife, this blade maybe perfect for your budget.

  • The old fashion style leather one looks cooler I think since it has the old fashion look to it. What is the knife you had in the last slide of you little intro clip?

  • @BgOutdoorsSurvival Ka-Bar Gen 2

  • do you know off hand if this is the only air forcce knife that you've done a review on?

  • @gunzfactory , this is the only one so far.

  • It's full tang

  • it dosent look like the other one?

  • im pretty sure its stick tang

  • i agree it should have a pocket and molle straps :)

  • interesting knife

  • @swarmbringer I just recieved my ebay ordered SP2 and it is the same as yours - looks like an orange peel coating, although it is with a smooth surface. Mine also comes with 29 saw teeth.

  • dose the Ontario SP2 knife come in more than one version?cause i both one and has 27 teeth on the saw,the gutter is barely define, and the coat finish is an orange peal texture.do they perform the same?i`m planing to get an other one with 28 teeth on the saw and a smooth coat finish,`think i`ll make a review to compare them+vs the MFH no named pilot knife that i hear they might be refurbished SP2 Ontario
