In A Nutshell :
I have an external hard drive which uses a SATA to USB converter to be plugged in to my pc by USB while power is provided by a simple dc wall plug into the converter.
We wanted to plug the hard drive into my pc by eSATA and still have it powered by the converter, this saves money on buying an actual converter or an eSatap which is power and sata cable for computers which have such ports ( usually usb and esata ports combined) and possibly buying an external power supply and also vastly increases transfer rates.
This is our modification to enable us to do so.
Maximum data transfer for USB : 60Mbps
Maximum data transfer for eSata : 600Mbps

Hey thanks for the video... I have the same external drive, and my Western Digital Caviar Green is so slow y will try to put the seagate drive into my system and the Western Digital into the external drive. Do you think the USB to SATA adapter would work with the WD? thanks
