First part of an episode of the Australian edition of 'Sale of The Century', hosted by Tony Barber and featuring Alyce Platt as co-host. I've left in the ads which include ones for Kmart, State Rail and Anita Hill Jewellers

  • Is it just me or is there something thing funny going on between Tony and Murray ? Very amusing. I wonder if the reason he left abruptly is because he didn't like Tony ? LOL

  • @Abu7929 Believe me when I say that if anything Tony and Murray got along famously, and it was Murray's nerve that gave out at the end of this episode. If anything there was almost too much chuminess between them. TB knew a big winner was ratings gold.

One thing though, during the filming there was some grumpiness from TB towards the crew and production team when things didn't go the way he wanted. Barber was an old pro who knew what he wanted and wasn't frightened of telling people that.
