"Special Intake" Its a supercharger intake you can buy for 300$, Its got an electric blower just after the air filter, and in the air filter theres a Metal propeller that spins, 2.5PSI From it. If your going to do anything, do what i did swap a 1944 Mazda 323 Engine into it. 1.8L DOHC Turbo. 206HP Stock. Escort stock engines put out like 88hp. Weak.

@mbdalyricalmc its cool man i was just stating the obvious..i just got one from a chick and im gonna turbo it with a turbo i got from a subaru wrx sti 07' or maybe a 4g63 turbo..i have to find some intercooler piping and get my engine rebuilt first. i have to get another engine to use as a reference because this is the first american car i owned thats 4 cylinder..i had a buick regal t type and a pontiac custom S but the rest of my 10 cars were japanese import

there are so many things wrong with this video. it doesn have "candy" paint, no1 likes the 17s with no center caps, the intake isnt givin that car a helluva lot of hps man, and it was the intake manifold painted, still so much more to bring up, but not worth it.

Firstly, You don't get "a hell of a lot of hp off that intake" The intake would give you +25hp TOPS. So that puts it at like, 108hp. Lol Secondly, Those rims are atrocious, where'd you get em? Bottom of a cereal box? Thirdly, the paint is garbage. Fourth,  You're aware that painting your headers and stuff doesn't add horsepower right? But, I digress. Thanks for ruining what little respect us REAL owners were getting back. If I see this, I'm taking it off the road.

I'd put an intake in my 96 but I don't want to have to deal with remapping the ECU.

nice show main, like the shoes too but you should see the 20" shoes on my 2 dr escort.

very clean though due, you should get a new exhaust system though, i got a two and a half inch piping from the exhaust manifold to a two and a half inch thrush muffler and a nice fat lip tip. sounds real mean meow!
