I just watched Searching For Sugar Man at the European Film Festival at Alliance Francaise in Nairobi and damn, Rodriguez has blown me away! Coping all his records! Great story & even better music!

I was born in Detroit - 1964, and I've never heard of the guy. Yes I watched the documentary Searching for Sugar Man, and of course went youtube surfing. I don't think I would say he's as good as Dylan(or better like some in the documentary said), but he's definitely talented as some of his songs are pretty good. I can't believe he got basically zero airtime here, or didn't at least sell SOME albums. Strange. He's a cool cat though, I really dig him. Nice guy.
