Amon Amarth - Free Will Sacrifice (Guitar Cover)

Easily one of the top five albums of the year, and deffinitely the break-through band of 2008, Amon Amarth! This is my tribute to the Viking Metal Gods.

Not happy with the "solo" type parts... I did a practice run without the camera on and nailed it all flawlessly, turned the camera on and just could NOT get a take without screwing up some part of it. Typical isn't it. Anyway, this is the best of about 5 takes. I don't go in for all that splicing the best bit of 10 takes together type stuff, so this is probably as good as I'm going to get it. Especially as it's getting too late for any more takes tonight.

yea, i lost the screws that hold it together. still works though.

i have that guitar only a different paint job and bridge and i put emgs in it

why do you have tape on the neck pickup

I lost the adjuster screws on the neck pick-up, so the tape is to stop the pick-up falling out and banging against the strings! It still works fine, but I very rarely use the neck pick-up in any case.

How hard was it to swap out the pickups? I've been considering doing something similar for a long time now.

i had to re wire my whole guitar and re drill the holes for the wires to go through to make them bigger. if you are getting different pick ups make sure you have someone who knows how to saulder and dont get emgs unless you have someone good with drills and electronics
