After all these years, I still have no words. I remember watching this live on TV having stayed home from school that day to specifically do so. Only prayer continue every time I see footage. Truly humbling.

At 4:39 he said President Nixon instead of President Reagan. I know I shouldn't say funny for something terrible like this, but the name mix up is funny as I am sure it was an accident so it had been more then 10 yars since Nixon resigned and 3 presidents later that it was 1986.

Yeah i Remember I'm from the uk it was live on children's cbbc kid show in the afternoon after 5pm uk time Remember Watching it i was just 8 then i was so shocked I've never seen or thinked that wound ever blow up its still in my hart all the flight team died upset me .god bless them all and all there familys. .R.I.P. sorry for my poor smallings .nick uk dorset south coast
