This is the story of the McCurtain family, who tragically lost their dog, Maggie, to a trap that was set in a community common area, just 45 feet from their back yard, in Gresham, Oregon. The trap was illegally set by the USDA's Wildlife Services lethal predator control program. So very sad and unnecessary. I am so so sorry :(

I am so sorry. These traps should be banned. Justice for Maggie. Don't let this happen again. I don't want my taxes used for this crap/

This is so incredibly sad. It's absolutely shocking to hear the usage of these traps. Where is the logic?? Keep up the fight for Maggie.

I am so sorry for your loss. Trite words perhaps but I'm on a predator watch list (wolf, bison, other wildlife) and there is a movement to try and make ALL trapping/snaring illegal. Most people don't seem to understand that these traps/snares don't 'tell' any animal "hey, you aren't what we want - go away and let the right animal stick its nose in here"
