I love going out to westport and doin the 1/2 day bottom fish 1/2 day salmon i will usaully pull in 10 or so sea bass in only a half day of fishing its amazing how many fish u can get in suck little time

we go for big fish bags. lings just don't fill their bags

Every time i go botom fishing out of westport they only focus on the black rock fish, after the boat gets the limit on those they will spend all of 30 mins fishing for lings and to this day i have never caught one off those boats. Is there a specal trip that focus on lings or was this justa specal deel you made with the charter?

true story... we had about a 6 foot leader with a jig on it and a fixed hooked with anchovies.... cought 2 ling cod on one leader....

thats westport in washington stae, good ling cod fishin in those waters, been on the charter botas there many time.
