I can see Edwards working well with reasonable Republicans. I'm a Dem, and campaigned against my sitting Governor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) because I felt like based on his '05 actions, I couldn't trust his "post-partisanship". But he's surprised me so far this term, and if more GOP figures act like that -- returning to the Eisenhower / Rockefeller / Anderson roots -- and more Dems act like Edwards, we could have a great decade ahead of us.

As an admirer of george bush and a staunch republican, i must still admit edwards looks very good in this video. It's too easy to be cynical and say this is a mere public relations stunt. It's clear that the grandma in the end of the video feels she got a good impression of edwards and that she relates to him. i like it. the video looks good. good luck edwards campaign.
