saarbrücken to margaretsville nova scotia canada 3/21

a visit to mararetsville post office and then a walk down to the bay of fundy to look at the low tide and the exposed rocks.

high tide low tide is the most extreme on plant earth in the bay of fundy. that's between nova scotia and new brunswick. both places very pretty. acid rain come from the states. the place that refuses to admit they need to change their plundering of the planet system.

but we don't talk about that.

seagulls rocks and water. and the cliffs of the bay. and wooden houses by the ocean.

air water and sun are our luxuries and we gotta know it.

people should stop wearing shoes. for many reasons. mostly, to feel the earth under your feet. no matter what it is.

unless, or course, it is to cool or too hot.

like on the moon.

we look around mom and dad's place and even get a shot of dad chopping wood.

then we visit nan to bring in some wood. she's doing better now but she wasn't on that day.

and we see mom's first rock painting.

peace

  • Your parents live in a place of rustic beauty.

Hard work heating with wood. I guess no electric or natural gas is used up there?

You must have tough feet to walk on rocky beach!

    Thanx for showing this place.=)

  • no gas where they are but some heat with oil, truck brings it in. wood is still cheaper. many places have electric heating to back up the wood on cold or lazy days.

the feet don't get so tough as stronger. a different kind of walking. a trip for free.

    peace

  • I live super-duper close to Margartsville. We go there a lot. Port George has an awesome park though. But the wharf sucks.

  • Very beautiful, the Canada I am in love with.
