  • CATHOLICS DO NOT WORSHIP STATUES, STATUES & ICONS ARE ONLY REMINDERS LIKE PICTURES OF LOVED ONES IN PHOTOGRAPHS

We bow to Mary & the saints ... TO SHOW RESPECT .. like the Japanese people bowing to ppl

Peasants kneel infront of Kings, Queen, Prince, – to show RESPECT

when we kisses the hand of the Pope, Bishops or Priests ...THIS IS A SIGN OF RESPECT.....like the Filipinos who kisses the hand of their elders....THEY ARE NOT WORSHIPING THEM

The statue of Mother Teresa REPRESENT WHAT?

  • @junmeskie Bowing and kissing the feet and hands... that's the definition of worship. See Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of 'worship': A term of ironical respect; The homage paid to idols; Honor; respect; civil deference; To adore; to pay divine honors to; to reverence with supreme respect and veneration.

If you personally don't worship Mary, and find that repulsive, that's fantastic. But that begs the question, why would you be involved in a church that worships Mary and saints?

  • @creationliberty It is sad that your knowledge is very limited to what you know when it comes to words "interpretations" you really believe that you can force anyone to follow your own or someone's (that you agree with) interpretations forgetting that other ppl or religion has their own meaning or interpretations.

This is very typical of most if not all Protestant "you follow my interpretations" otherwise you are WRONG 100%

  • @junmeskie So you will just deny it then. I see. Look, I don't want this for you, but on judgement day, this is gonna' come back to bite you. I urge you to repent of that worship of idols and come to Christ.

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen."

    1 John 5:21

"And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:"

    -Hebrews 10:12

That church and your good works can't take away sins. Christ alone. Faith alone.

  • @creationliberty "Look, I don't want this for you, but on judgement day, this is gonna' come back to bite you. I urge you to repent of that worship of idols and come to Christ"

Your little book of fables also tells you than none else than god has the right to judge ... so how are you to tell how people will be judged? Maybe try read your fable book about Job a bit and think about what message it delivers to those that tries to judge others.

  • @jomen112 That's not what the Bible says. (reading it helps) When you're ready for answers, and not just to scoff, let me know and I'll be glad to talk with you.

  • @creationliberty "Bowing and kissing the feet and hands... that's the definition of worship."

That's a quite lose definition of worshiping. But take it as you define it; every time you do kiss, say a cat or dog or other human fellow, you must be committing a sin.

But what does a creationist know about 'respect' and 'humbliness' when they spit at any expertise in the world and proclaims them self to be moral and intellectual superior than everyone else in all and any respect.

  • @creationliberty it doesn't matter what u think

here is what Catholics believe..As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13).

  • CATHOLICS HAS 4 QUALITIES: 1) FAITH Yep we have that! + Good works (tons of Mother Teresa in RCC) 2) REASONS of what & why WE BELIEVE Protestants just believed in the bible alone Burger King Christianity "Have it your way" is NOT biblical 3) SCRIPTURES The bible is a Catholic book; the Vulgate (385 AD) is the first bible. 4) APOSTLES SACRED Traditions It can trace back it's Traditions all the way to the apostles Acts 2:42, 2 Timothy 2:2, etc. == THE BIBLE + CHURCH HISTORY = 100% TRUTH ==
