Fire Destroys Nelson BC Home - TMTV

TMTV News Nelson BC Canada Dec 30, 2008 - FIRE DESTROYS NELSON HOME FIREFIGHTERS INJURED - Not the way a Nelson couple want to bring in the new year. A house on Nelson's north shore this morning was completely destroyed. Reports are that two Firefighters were injured. Fire crews have been on the scene all day. Highway 3A is open to single lane traffic.

I lived in this house from1960-1969. I was so sad to see it has been destroyed. I have wonderful memories of the house, the property and the lake. If the owner would like to see what the house looked like back then I'd be happy to provide a photo. Nancy

by the time they pulled all the hose, and there was enough personnel on scene to set up RIT, the building was burning on all levels, and wasn't safe
