Scene from the hilarious spoof of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, "The Phantom of the Opry" takes place in modern day Paris, KY. In this scene, the Opry House debuts its production of "Triangle Park After Dark", featuring Percy (Rick Haydon) as a prancing pimp. The Phantom (Michael Crisp) taunts Scarlett (Joanna Jerome) offstage, ruining her performance with his black magic.
Chaos ensues, as later the Phantom strangles Bucky (Scott Bradley), much to the horror of the ensemble. As Floyd (Randy Hall) calms the audience, Rusty (Todd Preston) is convinced to flee the stage with Crystal (Monica Niemi).
This scene is taken from a Fall 2006 performance.
There are several excellent "Phantom of the Opry" videos posted on my YouTube account, plus a bonus video of Monica Niemi performing "Remember Me" at: http://www.expotv.com/videos/reviews/... Note: There's a brief review of one of the microphones we used in "Phantom of the Opry" at the start of the clip - but the full song immediately follows

Anyone who could actually sit through an entire scene of this garbage, has obviously never had aTRU theatre experience.I feel sorry for anyone who thinks this tripe is even remotely funny.
