@PoliteCheese1414 These are assertions made without evidence. Demonstrate that a spear wound of the relevant degree would necessarily be fatal. Until then, what can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

@rawrock24 Demonstrably false claim - lots of people survive in the Phillippines Crucifixion Ceremony every year.
The argument is motivated by faith, not evidence. You WANT to believe that Christianity is true.
-
It is impossible to survive crucifixion and then Rome passed a death sentence to make sure no one survives. Kind of a silly thing to say.

@nicodemous52 i agree with you my friend. actually, all muslims beleive in the swoon theory, so thats quite a portion of the world.

How can a man be in heaven (which is only a place for souls) for 2000 years, doesn't matter how Divine Jesus can be, Jesus is not God the Father, nor God the son! Can a Watchmaker make a watch, and then become the watch?
-
This is the first time I have ever heard "swoon theory", and it is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. It makes much more sense to simply deny the entire story than pull out this tripe...

if you can beleive in the nonsense that he somehow came back to life out of nowhere after three days, why is it so hard to believ something that actually has some sciense behind it. there have been cases where people have survived many worst cases of death then Jesus. Did God not have the power to keep him alive? if he had the power to keep him dead. which one to believe when the ultimate explanation is the same: God has all powers?
-
@nightvidcole keep in mind the part where John records the Roman spearing Jesus in the right side to make sure he was dead. Blood and water came out of him as the spear was pulled out. Keep in mind that Jesus would've had a massive spike in heart rate, causing the membrane about the heart to fill up with the fluid. The fact that the Roman spear got that far into Jesus means that he would've died from the spearing, let alone the crucifixion! the fluid only collects once the comdemned ACTUALLY DIE

@nightvidcole lets see ya!

@ProclaimHisWord Uh, no. I can singlehandedly debunk all these claims...
It takes more faith to believe in the swoon theory than it takes to actually believe in the literal resurrection of Christ! The garbage that unbelievers will come up with NEVER ceases to amaze me.
