Parts of the video are from the Freelancer trailer. And I have been playing the game for just as long as a few of my mates and i know they use officers and i do... and guess whose the higher rank??? and ive been crossed twice 2... So I believe Officers make no difference what so ever and im on 500k points they are arround the 370 mark and i even play for less time.

It matters because noobs that are willing to pay get an unfair advantage over gamers that have been with OGame a great deal longer.
The people who actually understand the game & have the skills to get to the top are being undermined!
The number of people opposed to this was astronomical, and yet they still went ahead with it.

well thats what i mean the only time it would matter if your really really strong and if your that strong anyway... what differences does it make.. your already pretty much as strong as you can get but i mean noobs out there probably get this stuff so what if it helps them a little big deal.. no need to get ur panties up in a bunch and there is a reason why ogame made that stuff so they make money off the site so they can Continue to RUN the game

ok no offence but there is nothing wrong with officers not saying that i have officers cuz i cant afford them but to be honest just becuase they can afford it and your too poor to doesnt mean that they have to be destoryed... just my oppion

Actually it does matter : it changes the rules of the game.
I could pay for the officer account but it would be like cheating.
Can you think of a chess game where, in the middle of the game, the arbiters decide that one can pay to have another queen???

how does having ogame commander and or officers give you something like a queen ogame commander allows you to make a que line sure i could stay up all night and do the same thing it just allows you to build multiply things and go to bed and 10% really isnt that much if you think of it unless you like top 10 player ranked people
