Since they are comic book characters brought to the big screen they have background orgins. What they and you say these characters are doesnt mesh with who the characters are. Crazy, I used to watch the cartoons when I was a little kid... always rooting for the "mutants" thinking there was no way it could ever be like this in real life. I had a small forested area behind my house growing up and I used to run around with a long stick back there with my parents' decks of cards, flinging them at things, imagining they were exploding, like Gambit from the X-men. I REALLY wanted to be a mutant (at 8 years old)... there really is a transhumanist agenda, I've learned now.
