  • 1:53 She says once this layer is damaged. Did she specify why it was damaged? People have been really misled as to how cholesterol actually works. And first off. Cholesterol is cholesterol. Their is no good and bad. LDL means low-density lipo-proteins. no where in that term is cholesterol stated. people get the proteins which only transport the cholesterol mixed up with the actual cholesterol. Look the information up. Their isn't enough room for me to write how cholesterol really works here.

  • Atherosclerosis is a major cause of cardiovascular disease!!!!! Ha, ha, ha..what a load!

How do you the explain that many heartattack victims on autopsy show no atherosclerosis whatsoever?

17 million deaths annualy that could possibly be prevented if the real causes

(that are known of course) were treated instead!

  • Here’s a deep, dark secret that bypass surgeons hate to admit: When autopsies are performed on dead heartattack victims, they often find no blocked arteries at all!

Isn’t that curious? Everyone tells you that fatal heart attacks are always caused by hardened arteries. But post-mortems show us it’s just not so. Try INFECTIONS

    Equally interesting:

More than 10 years ago, The American Journal of Cardiology reported that most patients with blocked arteries actually grow their own bypasses.

  • You're right. Keep in mind that patients may have limited health literacy. It is important to communicate in such a way that we can highlight the significance of this silent disease of dyslipidemia in that it manifests clinically as AMI, AIS, etc. Grading language is important in order to emphasize the importance of medication compliance and lifestyle modifications in an understandable way to help our patients with primary and secondary prevention. Thank you for a great comment!

  • I'm never eating anything greasey or high salt again!

  • Thank you very much to the woman with the sexy voice this has helped me massively so I would like to just congratulate the people behind the animation aswell.

  • i feel like im in health class. Haha great vid.

  • Great graphics....I'll think twice before I go to popeye's again!! I promise to eat healthier!!

  • Excellent illustration!

  • I think you need to relax! yes LDL is a transporter but the more LDL you have, the more cholesterol is being transported by LDL, and so due to the harmful effects of LDL once oxidised etc...the LDL/Cholesterol COMPLEX is BAD! so to call it bad cholesterol may not be 100% correct but who cares, it makes people understand!

  • wohoW!!! very nice video
