My dad had three of those not too long ago bought them off a Guy that started a rebuild and never finished completed two and sold them only one left to finish and keep for himself!

"not too much gas" LOL I've found gas is almost useless to start with those XTs, I think the engine does all the job itself! Well, I'm used to my 125cc, but still they feel like bicycles with a truck's engine compared to myt bike.

And all the levers are stiff and short-stroked.

The way they're meant to be!
