Poor people doesn't get it.. The secret is abusing universal energy and law of attraction for material wealth, but they don't tell you the one of 7 laws is also law of balace: What you put in is what you get out. So you give your energy for material wealth out, and recieve a poor spiritual wealth in. Result is material richness and spiritual blindnes. You all must understand for me getting rich on this world means at least 100 people must get poor. This is inbalace or The secret of the secret..

@MisterHeizenberg I'm assuming you are talking about Esther Hicks. She is not trying to have a different accent, that is the voice she uses when she channels her spirit guide Abraham. I'm not looking to get into a debate with anyone about spirit guides, just giving you an explanation of why she talks like that. However, if you are interested you should google Abraham Hicks. The book "Ask and It Is Given" has great techniques for raising your vibrations.

@gracethefair solid is a word used to describe something you can stand on or touch and not pass through. I could say illusion is a concept that doesnt exist? Bees fly yes, what is your point? I'm just saying that why are they saying solid is a lie, solid is a word. Things are solid, what would you call these objects instead of solid? To me secret is pure psychology. When you are more confident, trust in yourself and think positively - of course your life will be better. It doesn't tell you to serve God. It tells you to serve yourself. We should first take care of ourselves. Take a look around you - Unhappy people all over you - and no, not everyone of them are poor or unemployed. They are watching how other people live their lives but don't know how to live their own life happily.

@Geronemoable That is not the understanding of the Secret, but a typical misconception and in fact there are false teachers who are abusing this misconception for their personal gains. However, go beyond that...

If you give out your energy for material wealth you will continue to desire material wealth. In other words, you stay poor. It is the letting-go of any attention and importance given to [insert human desire here] that will have abundance come to you - in a yet unknown way!

@Geronemoable You're forgetting the law of abundance. Abundance doesn't mean money. Therefore, there's enough to go around for everyone. Not everybody wants the same thing. Believe it or not, there are people who enjoy their lives, even though they are poor. Then there are people like you and me who want to have a healthy balance of everything. Trust me when I tell you, once the secret isn't a secret anymore, you'll see a huge change in the world.
