Jolicloud is the most stupid and useless thing ever invented.
They just have nothing to do all the day to make an OS like this.
-
All this effort people put into making operating systems for netbooks..... and I'm perfectly happy with Vista! :)

looks like ubuntu netbook edition, well gonna start my Bromium o/s project from opensuse
I just love how it shares your data without ever giving you heads up. Glad to know that Mike Hemenge just installed WIkipedia on his Eee 900 ten minutes ago.

i am not sure if i am getting you. take a look at their website, check out the features and then let me know if you want facebook, twitter or friendfeed giving you a heads up, everytime your status changed or you sent out a tweet. This is not a security bug, this is a feature and that's why i am calling it a social os!

No, this is definitely a design flaw. There are no privacy settings at all. For instance, you might want to limit who can view what apps you're installing to people on your friends list. Can you? No (aside from the fact that there are no friend lists). Not once during the setup are you informed public profiles either. So, e.g. if Joe Plumber "installs" the PornDownloader app, his boss, his mom, his wife, his daughters and the rest of the world can easily see it. It's a gigantic drawback.

could you please tell me who is installing an OS without checking the specs of it?

Point me to the part of the webpage where it says that they will post private data without your consent?

instead of trolling all around you should invest some minutes to check out the social features. welcome to the world of social media. there are people who are getting it and people who don't!
