So I was supposed to film this video at the Miami Book Fair but my video camera died so I had to film this writing tip video after I got back home. Anyhow the Miami Book Fair was a really great event and I hope you enjoy my writing tip

I LOVE this tip!! lol.

My favorite authors come from Romantic-fiction-paranormal hybrids of genres. First off is Stephenie Meyer--I know that sounds totally typical, but Stephenie Meyer has opened so many doors for me that she doesn't even know. Secondly is Leanna Renee Hieber. She's from near where I'm from and her first book (The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker) was so captivating, I admired her for her work as well as her back ground. Plus, it's set in Victorian England.

Stephen King and John Jakes are two of my favorites. I agree with the tip..however, I think reading an author with a certain writing style that is like your own or one that inspires you, no matter the genre is just as important.
