So the problem is that even though I recognize that I only dislike the woman in my early morning Tuesday Thursday class because it is early and she is a morning person, it does not make me like her any more. Recognizing your bias might help, but it doesn't necessarily get rid of that bias. So, yeah. Bias exists- I'm biased, you're biased- but recognizing it doesn't change our emotional reactions to the subjects of that bias.
