@UtubeLeeOh I remember watching thise on the old Foxnet feed (since Youngstown didn't have a Fox affiliate yet) after school in the third grade. Other than Popeye I liked Snuffy Smith, Krazy Cat, and Beatle Baily.
This 1963 story was written by two future writers of "THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW": Bill Angelos and Alan "Buz" Kohan. Animation rendered by Paramount's New York's cartoon studio {the music is mostly stock cues from previous Paramount cartoons by Winston Sharples, who also wrote the "Snuffy" theme}. Paul Frees and GeGe Pearson provide all voices.
Barny definately got his just desserts.
